Performed by the String Ensemble of the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra

In a benefit concert for the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra, the String Ensemble under Artistic Director David Leighton with Betty-Jean Hagen, violin soloist, will perform The Four Seasons.

Everyone Loves the Four Seasons!

Composed in 1723, The Four Seasons is more than just Antonio Vivaldi’s best-known work, and among the most popular pieces of Baroque music known. These Vivaldi violin concertos are considered to also be one of the great masterworks in all of Western art; making this concert a wonderful choice for string quartet buffs,  hardcore classical music fans or any novice who enjoys beautiful music.  As far as the Vivaldi aficionado is concerned, The Four Seasons is a timeless classic.

The Four Seasons will be performed at Emerson Resort & Spa on Sunday, November 21st at 3:00 pm.  Tickets are on sale for $35.00 per person and include the String Ensemble of the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra performance, light snacks and beverages. A cash bar will also be available.

Just in time for the holidays, this Hudson Valley Cooking Class with culinary chef Curt Robair will teach you exactly how to cook the perfect turkey.  The Thanksgiving themed cooking classes will teach you how to prepare a complete holiday feast including: the perfect turkey, farm fresh favorites and other Thanksgiving classics such as cranberry relish, stuffing and sides.
