MT. TREMPER, N.Y., May 13, 2010 – The Emerson Resort & Spa is celebrating summer evenings with a series of “Campfire Nights” featuring live entertainment and outdoor BBQ. Rising recording star and songwriter Kailin Garrity will bring her unique voice and style – a combination of folk, pop and roots – to the campfire at Emerson’s Catamount Restaurant. Her music has been heard on two international ad campaigns, in films and on TV. Garrity has performed at New York City venues such as The Bitter End, The Red Lion and Rockwood Music Hall and is currently working on a new album with the help of Oscar winning producer Sam Bisbee and Grammy winning producer Steve Addabbo (Suzzanne Vega, Sean Colvin). The Catamount Restaurant will serve a buffet of BBQ favorites including vegetarian options. Priced at $14.95 for adults and $8 for children 6-12, “Campfire Nights” provides an evening of great food and music for families and couples.
