Legendary Comedian Bill Cosby Spends the Night in Luxury At the Emerson Resort & Spa
MT. TREMPER, N.Y., March 4, 2008– Legendary comedian Bill Cosby recently spent the night at the new Emerson Resort & Spa in Mt. Tremper, NY, enjoying a little R&R before his next performance at the famed Ulster County Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in nearby Kingston.
Cosby arrived on Saturday, March 2 and spent the night in one of the Emerson’s 960 square-foot Imperial Suites, complete with living room, dining area with fireplace, private deck, loft bedroom and two full baths. The next day, he relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings until his departure early afternoon for a 5pm curtain at UPAC.
“It was a great honor that Mr. Cosby chose to stay with us at the Emerson and we did everything we could to make his stay to the level of satisfaction he is surely accustomed to as one of the premiere entertainers of his generation,” said Ron VanWarmer, general manager of the Emerson Resort & Spa. “Our staff found him to be as pleasant and friendly as one would expect from a man who has made us all laugh for nearly 50 years.”
